Bord Bia (The Irish Food Board) is the Irish government agency charged with the promotion, trade development and marketing of the Irish food, drink and horticulture industry, both in Ireland and around the world.
Bord Bia was established under An Bord Bia Act 1994 and operates in accordance with the provisions of the Bord Bia Acts and Amendment Acts 1994, 1995, 1996 & 2004 and under the aegis of the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
Bord Bia works to enhance the reputation, based on the principles of sustainable development, of Irish food, drink and horticulture to develop markets for Irish suppliers and bring the taste of Irish food to more tables world-wide.
With its headquarters in Dublin, Bord Bia has a network of 14 overseas offices in Amsterdam, Dubai, Dusseldorf, Japan, London, Madrid, Milan, Warsaw, Moscow, New York, Paris,
Stockholm, Shanghai and Singapore.
